Houston-Metropolitan Chapter (Hou-Met) of the Texas Educational Diagnosticians' Association (TEDA), promotes professionalism, excellence, and continuing growth for diagnosticians to provide individuals with disabilities quality educational services in the Houston-Metropolitan area. Hou-Met and Region 4 Education Service Center have collaborated to provide the Fall 2017 conference for special education evaluation personnel. This year marks the 42nd annual conference held by Hou-Met. Region 4** is the largest Texas educational service center and provides services to 53 school districts and over 50 charter schools representing 25% (over 1,000,000) students and over 83,000 professional educators. The purpose of this conference is to provide the latest information on evaluation and facilitate networking opportunities for school personnel involved in the evaluation of children with disabilities.
